I live, work, & play in Louisville, Kentucky, a small but spunky city on the border of the north & south United States.
My love for photography began in high school, when I shot my (terrible) first roll of 35mm black-and-white film on my mom’s old Pentax k1000. But it wasn’t until college, where I studied Photojournalism at Western Kentucky University, that I truly discovered the power of storytelling. I started the WKU PJ program to become a photographer and accidentally fell in love with journalism too.
I now spend the majority of my time producing short films and photography on a team at Kertis Creative. When I’m not at work, you can catch me attempting to watercolor paint, eating exotic food, listening to salsa music with my husband (He’s Cuban!), or tearing up a dance floor with friends. Otherwise, I’m probably scheming up a project that’s unlikely to ever happen or dreaming about how I can make another trip abroad.
Thank you for taking the time to get to know me & my proudest work! Please reach out if you’d like to chat about commissions or collaborations (or anything else, for that matter).
